GYMRANK SUPPORT

This page is how to get help with GymRank, how to deal with content or a lifter you have a problem with, and how to close your account. Everything below describes what the app does today.

HOW TO REACH US

Email gymranksupport@gmail.com. That address is read by a person. Tell us your username and what happened, and if it is about a specific PR or clip, say which lifter and which lift so we can find it. You can open the same address from inside the app: go to Settings and tap Contact / Report a problem.

HOW TO REPORT A PR OR A CLIP

Report a PR from the board it appears on. Open the Ranks tab, find the board and the lifter, and tap the row to open the clip. Tap the overflow control marked with three dots to open More options, then tap Report, and choose the reason that fits. The lifter is not told who reported them.

If you cannot reach the content in the app — for example you were filmed without agreeing to it, or the content is yours and you did not post it — email gymranksupport@gmail.com instead. You do not need a GymRank account to report something to us that way.

HOW TO BLOCK A LIFTER

Block a lifter from the same overflow menu on their clip: tap the three dots, then tap Block, and confirm. You can also block someone from their profile preview when you find them through search. Once blocked, they can no longer see you or reach you in the app, and you will not see them.

HOW FAST WE RESPOND

We look at reported content and remove anything that breaks our Terms of Service — and we may remove the account that posted it — within 24 hours of the report. Serious cases are acted on sooner. Emails about other problems are usually answered within the same window, and always as soon as we reasonably can.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND YOUR DATA

Delete your account from inside the app. Open Settings, scroll to the Account section, and tap Delete account. The app asks you to confirm twice, on purpose, because the action cannot be undone. After the second confirmation your account, your profile, every workout, every personal record, every league standing and title, your follows and blocks, and your notification settings are permanently erased. Your PRs stop appearing on every leaderboard. You are signed out and nothing is kept for you to come back to.

What happens to your clips. The video files and their still images are queued for deletion from our media storage before anything else is erased, and a background job clears them out soon afterwards. That part is not instant, and a large account can take a few rounds to work through. If our storage provider keeps refusing a file we stop retrying after a few attempts and keep a record that the file was not erased, so it can be dealt with by hand. Email gymranksupport@gmail.com if you want us to check on one.

There is no waiting period and no separate request form. If you cannot sign in to reach the button, email gymranksupport@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

WHAT YOU NEED TO RUN GYMRANK

GymRank runs on iPhone and requires iOS 26 or later. It is not available for iPad, Android or the web. You need an internet connection to sign in, to submit a PR and to see leaderboards; workouts you log while offline are held on your device and sent when you are back online.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do I have to film a lift to log a PR? Yes. Recording a clip is required to log a PR — a PR is created from the clip you upload, so there is no PR without one.

Why is my leaderboard quiet? Boards are local, so they fill up as lifters near you join. Your PRs still count and your score still moves while a board is small.

Can I change my home gym? Yes, from Settings. Your board follows your home gym.

I found a bug. Email gymranksupport@gmail.com with your username, what you expected, and what happened instead. If you can, say which iPhone you use.
